Counselor Team Lead Job Description 
Still Waters Professional Counseling, Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time and part-time Counselor Team Lead to help manage a team of behavioral health counselors. The Team Lead will provide support to their counselors, hold weekly meetings, attend trainings, and be responsible for team discharge information and reauthorizations. The Team lead will work a smaller case load than the regular counselors. Time will be split between the two locations. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Counselor Team Leads will be also required to do in home counseling sessions and office sessions with clients. 

Counselors will emphasize on prevention and/or behavior modification. The counselors will work with adults and children to promote optimum mental health. May help adults deal with addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; and children with suicide; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging and mental and emotional health. 

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards: 
Assess the work of the counselors to ensure they are leaving accurate notes 
Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests 
Counsel customers in individual sessions to help them overcome dependencies; recover from illness and adjust to life 
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge 
Evaluate clients physical or mental condition based on review of client information 
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients treatment 
Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan 

Qualifications: 
At least 2 years of clinical experience 
Masters Degree 
Position may require driving to various locations to monitor sessions of other counselors. 
Must have reliable transportation, driver’s license, and meet insurance requirements of the state 
Experience in Share note 

Licensing Requirements: 
Pursuant of a license LPC, LCSW, LAMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT) or working towards one of these licenses for office and in-home counseling and management positions.

Counseling Intern Position Description  

Job Summary: Performs supervised individual counseling. Provides psychological assessments, intakes and appropriate referrals. May perform other related tasks that are a part of the organization's operations. Work is supervised by professional staff, and individual clinical work is supervised by a licensed professional counselor.  

Reports to: CEO and/or Clinical Director and designated supervisors. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Conducts intake interviews with clients and completes the required clinical documentation via our electronic recordkeeping system within 24 hours. 
- Provides individual on a scheduled basis.  
- Provides support to the utilization department for internal audits and other tasks as needed. 
- Consults with supervisors and staff as needed. 
- Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision on a weekly basis and in a prompt manner. 
- Interacts with staff and clients in a professional and ethical manner. 
- Commits to a part-time, 20 hour per week internship to include an up to ten (10) hour per week caseload, Schedule will be based on individual availability. 
- Participates in supervision and training with an openness to learning and receiving feedback. 
- Discharged client reengagement

- Knowledge and basic skills in counseling practices and methods.

- Ability to establish rapport with others as a requisite for healthy and therapeutic relationships. 
- Ability to present oneself in an appropriately personable and professional manner to clients and staff. 
- Ability to receive and utilize constructive feedback regarding performance. 
- Ability to be both consistent and flexible as circumstances warrant. 
- Ability to remain calm and supportive in psychological emergencies and/or crises when provided with appropriate supervision and direction.

Counselor Job Description 

Still Waters Professional Counseling, Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking full-time and part-time Counselors to work on-site providing services for Children and Adults at our Augusta office and for our Ranch located in Davisboro, GA. Time will be split between the two locations. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Counselors will be required to do in home counseling sessions and office sessions with clients. 

Counselors will emphasis on prevention and/or behavior modification. The counselors will work with adults and children to promote optimum mental health. May help adults deal with addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; and children with suicide; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging and mental and emotional health. 

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards: 

· Act as a client’s advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve crisis situations 
· Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests 
· Counsel customers in individual sessions to help them overcome dependencies; recover from illness and adjust to life 
· Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge 
· Evaluate clients physical or mental condition based on review of client information 
· Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients treatment 
· Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan 
· Work 25 billable hours 

Qualifications 

· At least 1 year of experience 
· Masters Degree
